AdaCare offers absolutely best services one should need!
I have been working as a caregiver in Active Pedal that offers many services with over 100 employees both fulltime and volunteer. My company had to change home care software twice before my superior was introduced to AdaCare, and we have been using it ever since. I believe that was our best decision since it has helped us a lot with keeping our massive work-information in line during the COVID-19 pandemic. Two best features that AdaCare offers are smart scheduling and bookkeeping, and these are also the first to check when you look for a home healthcare software. Adacare can automatically consider a patient’s living environment, geographic zones to suggest matching caregivers and suitable time slots. It also keeps track of the patients’ special needs so the caregivers can instruct them better. Not only does this feature help with the managing process, it also makes it easy for us caregivers. All our schedules as well as customers’ contact information, special needs and instructions for a week are kept neatly in one place that we can track and make adjustments if necessary. Billing is always time consuming and it gave my colleagues and sometimes myself headaches in the past, but this software has made it stress-free for us. Since it can track all visits, the hours and the mileage for us, we save hours of paperwork. Thanks to the ability to make visit notes, it is much easier to invoice insurance companies. Another thumb-up for AdaCare is the reasonable pricing for its great values and a great team of customer support that I believe trump both previous software companies that we had worked with. My superior is always happy to work with AdaCare. However, I have also heard a few complaints from some older caregiver fellows for there are quite many steps with the clock in/clock out system on the website. I think it would be easier for them if AdaCare can develop an app on the phone with shortcuts to this feature. For us, AdaCare has been a great help for over 2 years now, especially during the pandemic. However, we believe there is still room for improvement.
